Your central photoreceptors are damaged but the rest of your eye is healthy
Current eligibility requirements exclude patients with conditions affecting other parts of the eye, including glaucoma, cataract, wet macular degeneration, corneal disease, optic neuropathy, vein or artery occlusion, or retinal detachment.
You have low vision in both eyes
The area of atrophy in the eye is large enough to accommodate the implant
